Victoria Jones, founder of True Vintage Candle, has spent her career building brands that blend art, science, design, and emotion. After two decades leading brand strategy for some of America’s most iconic companies, she turned her creative energy toward something deeply personal, creating warmth, memory, and soul into people’s homes.
Her passion for fragrance led her to Grasse, France, the world’s capital of fragrance, where she studied at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery alongside a group of students from around the globe. The experience was transformative: surrounded by the lavender, roseraie, jasmine, and bitter orange groves of the Côte d’Azur, Victoria learned the art and science of fragrance composition. Immersing herself in the language, tradition, and craft of perfumery with like-minded creators from every corner of the world. What began as a course became a global fellowship of friends and artisans, a once-in-a-lifetime experience that deepened her appreciation for the power of scent as a storyteller.
Today, True Vintage Candle sources many of its signature fragrances from the Grasse region, drawing inspiration from its heritage. Each fragrance tells a story that begins in the hills of Southern France and finds new life in a vintage vessel, hand-poured in the USA. Her vision is simple: celebrate the past, craft with purpose, and light the present.

She envisioned a business that could serve as a giving engine, where the byproduct of hard work wasn’t accumulation, but compassion. That purpose lives at the heart of True Vintage Candle, where a portion of every purchase directly supports young adults aging out of foster care, helping them access stability, education, and opportunity in their next chapter. The statistics are heartbreaking: far too many youth exit the foster system only to face homelessness, trafficking, addiction, or incarceration. True Vintage Candle was founded to help change that trajectory, one flame at a time.
